John Chen (Pte) Ltd was formed in 1970 to take over the sole proprietorship. The Group evolved and diversified into the marketing and servicing of material handling equipment & systems, and retail & storage systems.

JCG has successfully undertaken plant concept development, engineering design, fabrication, and machinery / equipment installation projects for its clients.

We have a niche in the design, fabrication, supply, installation, and maintenance of aircraft ground support and maintenance equipment such as baggage and cargo trailers and dollies, maintenance steps for different aircraft accesses and inspection ports, aircraft maintenance dockings etc.

~ Material Handling Equipment ~

JCG is one of the pioneers in the business of material handling equipment sales and service in Singapore when we diversified into equipment trading in the early 70's.

Today, JCG's wide range of material handling equipment includes Stocka Hand Pallet Trucks, Wanzl airport and industrial trolleys, Hymo lift tables, Hanaoka-Dandy hand and lift trolleys, Gebhardt roll containers, and Arca plastic bins and containers.

~ Storage Solutions ~

JCG is one of the Storage System market leaders in Singapore and Malaysia. With over 300 vertical carousels, vertical lift storage modules, horizontal carousels and racking systems installed in the past 10 years, JCG can find a solution to meet any storage requirement.

Manufacturers represented include Kardex, Remstar, System Schultheis and Hammerlok.

Storage applications range from Automated Office Filing & Storage Systems to Work-in-progress Storage Systems to Early Baggage Storage at Singapore Changi Airport.

~ Display Systems ~

John Chen Group set up a subsidiary company John Chen Display Systems Pte Ltd (JCDS) in 1998. JCDS focuses on the Retail and Library Display System market.

The product range of JCDS includes shelving systems for both supermarket and library applications, shopping trolleys, access control systems comprising turnstiles, barriers, and swing gates, and other specialty library products. Manufacturers represented include Hydestor, Wanzl and QLS.
